Stereogum just premiered the latest track from Karl X Johan (the Stockholm duo of band mates Kalle Jönsson and Johan Tuvesson). A Better Tomorrow is a full blown, roll down your car windows, crank the volume, synth-heavy, 80’s summer power ballad. A few decades earlier and it could’ve been the cornerstone love song in Top Gun or just as easily replaced Real Life in the epic bike-dance scene in RAD. Yeah, I said it. . . it’s THAT good.
